SAVE THE DATE! sol Spring Celebration & Fundraiser

June 13, 2009

Our next fabulous event at sol will take place on Saturday June 13th.
We will offer an afternoon of garden activities, a film (TBA),
exciting mixed drinks with seasonal fruit, yummy snacks, a silent
auction, and some djs.  Please join us, and help us raise $2000 for
our summer youth internship program.  We plan to hire from 6-8 high
school age youth for 8 weeks this summer.  The interns will learn
gardening skills as well as contribute to growing our local food
system through participation in farmer’s markets with value added
products, increasing access to healthy local foods in our
neighborhood.  Your donation at this event will allow us to directly
pay youth to participate in the internship program. Stay tuned for
more information.
